 SCOTT KOWALSKE
"A MAN ON A MISSION"
Scott Kowalske has a mission to save his life. Scott has Chronic Wasting Disease, which doctors think he contracted over one year ago. He has lost seven to eight inches of bone. His legs are numb from the knee down. The myelin that covers his nerve endings has been stripped away which leave him in constant pain.
Every morning when he wakes up, he takes 13 Darvon pills. He is on medication that is the same prescribed to stage-four cancer patients. This medication is 80 times more powerful than morphine. Cancer patients take one dose, while Scott takes four daily.
Scott Kowalske’s only hope is a legal stem cell transplant. Although this procedure is costly, Scott is over half way there. He needs our help.
Scott has been a customer at Ocean’s Eleven Casino while he waits for adequate funding as the procedure is near San Diego. The management feels for Scott’s plight. You can donate to the Scott Kowalske Fund at the Fifth Third Bank, 630 W. 14th St., Traverse City, Michigan, 49684. Phone: (231) 922-4334
